Maura Holmes Obituary
Maura F. Holmes, 41, of Manchester, formerly of West Hartford, died October 26, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, of complications from an accident. She was born in Hartford, to the late Peter F. and Joyce (Norman) Holmes, was raised in West Hartford and was a 1993 Graduate of Conard High School, then The CT Training School with a Child Development Associates Degree. She is survived by her sisters; Dorothy Holmes of East Hartford, Molly Holmes-Burgess and her husband John of Cheshire. A daughter Mia additionally survives her along with many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Ave. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave. West Hartford. Maura was a huge Mets fan and is smiling in heaven to know they are in the Series. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to When Georgia Smiled at https://www.whengeorgiasmiled.org. Oh my god! I just found out that Maura died! I knew her since 1991 and took her to her prom. I hadn't heard from in awhile. Rest in Heaven Maura! From Jeff
