HUGGARD, Michael T. Sr.
Michael T. Huggard, Sr., 63 of Bristol, husband of 34 years to Mona (Duperry) Huggard, passed away on Tuesday, (May 28, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital. Mike was born in Houlton, ME on Aug. 23, 1949 and was a son of Maxine (Moran) Huggard and the late Thomas Huggard. He was a longtime Bristol resident and served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 1968 and then joined the CT Army National Guard retiring in 2009 after 30 dedicated years of service and was a letter carrier with the USPS for 39 years. Besides his wife and mother, Mike is survived by his two loving daughters and a son-in-law; Kristin Duffany and her husband Mike and Lauren Huggard; two brothers: Richard and John Huggard; two sisters: Nancy Hafford and Susan Kaye; his three grandchildren; Catlyn Dyllan and Jordyn and several nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his son; Michael Huggard, Jr.
