Nancy Lein Obituary



Nancy Sue Lein, aged 69, of West Hartford, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at UConn Health Center. She was born December 11, 1944 in Denver, CO and resided in Buffalo, NY before settling in West Hartford. A proud graduate of Hall High School class of 1963 and Eli Whitney Tech, Nancy will be remembered as a writer, artist and compassionate human being whose understanding and kindness were beyond measure. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert L. Montgomery, Rosealee (Lovett) Montgomery, and her brother Michael. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Brian Lutz, and beloved granddaughters Vivie-Rose and Rosealee Johannah, all of New Orleans, LA. She also leaves her best friend, Sandra Ingari of Meriden, brother and sister-in-law David and Doris Montgomery of Northampton, MA, sister and brother -in-law Mary Lou and David Earley of Windsor, and many wonderful friends. The family would like to extend sincerest thanks to Mark Wolfe of Interim Health Care and Tanikka Fudge for their consistent, gentle care and encouragement in her final years. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in her name can be made to the National Arthritis Foundation. I cannot believe it has been four years since my dearest friend left this earth. I miss talking to her so much. Her advice and counsel were invaluable in my life. Now I just go back to reading her cards and letters and they comfort me. I loved and still love and miss her so.
