Philip was born in Hartford, on April 16, 1953, son to the late Joseph and Elizabeth "Lorraine" (Falletti) Parlapiano. Philip was a truck driver for Whitney's Towing in Hartford for many years. Truck driving was his passion. He loved everything about it and talked about it frequently. He also attended various conferences and conventions surrounding the industry. Philip was a an easy going, lovable guy. He had a great personality and everyone he met gravitated towards him. He could spark up a conversation and build a relationship with almost anyone. He was also an excellent cook, getting compliments on his dishes from all his family and friends. Philip was also a member of the Windsor VFW Post #4740. Most of all, Philip adored spending time with his family and friends. Philip's passing will leave an enormous void within the hearts of all who knew him and had the pleasure of meeting him. Philip is survived by his wife, Traci, of Windsor; his three children, Philip, Cyr and Cody Parlapiano; four grandchildren; his sister Patricia DiLoreto and her husband Rinaldo of Niantic as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Felix Parlapiano. Traci,

Hard to believe it has been 2 years since Phil passed away. I miss him, but I know that he is in a good place with his dad, mom and brother Joe.

Phil was a great friend and will always be in my thoughts and prayers until we meet again.
