Annette Farrow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carmon Windsor Funeral Home on Mar. 29, 2026.
Annette (Annamae) Farrow, 89, of Windsor passed away on March 26, 2026. She was born in Thompsonville, CT to the late Samuel and Bernice Frangiamore. She graduated from Enfield High and was a resident of Windsor for 56 years. She was married to her late husband James for 60 years and predeceased by her sister Patricia Ripish and brother in law Ray Farrow. She is survived by her brother Roger Frangiamore, brother in law John Farrow, and sister in laws Lorraine d'Entremont and Mary Lou Farrow. She leaves three sons, Stephen and his wife Noreen, Dana and his wife Heidi, David and Jiang, four grandchildren, Dylan, Lily, Autumn, Thea, many nieces and nephews, her neighbor Uwa and her family, who provided abundant friendship and care over the years, and her friend Terry, where they went out almost every Saturday for over 30 years, having fun, and occasionally getting lost along the way. Starting at age 14 she liked working on the Southwick, MA tobacco fields in the summers during her High School years to earn money for school clothes. Before marrying she was a secretary at Pratt & Whitney and then Hamilton Standard. When her sons where school aged she became a teacher's aid in Windsor, and in later years managed the greeting card department at CVS. She retired as secretary from New Life Church, Windsor Locks (now Crossroads, East Windsor) after 28 years where she also taught Sunday School. She especially loved nursery duty seeing to the babies and toddlers while their parents attended service. She enjoyed old T.V shows, puzzles, decorative painting, and all kinds of needlework. Many of her creations adorn the walls of her home.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 10 a.m., at Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 122 East Street, Windsor.
