Pierce Holleran Austin

Pierce Holleran Austin, nine months old. Born May 4, 2001, Pierce died Monday, (February 25, 2002) after a lifelong battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents, Lena Holleran-Austin and Peter Austin, Jr. He is also survived by his grandparents, Debbie and Peter Austin, Sr; Jane and John Holleran, Jr; his great-grandparents, Margaret Austin, Gladys Grover and Dorothy and John Holleran, Sr.; his aunt and godmother, Megan Holleran, her fiance and Pierce's godfather, Hansylin Hernandez; his uncles, Patrick Austin, Andrew Austin and Matthew Austin; and many other relatives. Pierce's parents would like to thank the wonderful staff at Connecticut Children's Medical Center for the loving care they gave Pierce during his life. Calling hours will be TODAY, February 27, 4-8 p.m. at Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, February 28, 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 160 Main Street, Hartford. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
