I played baseball with Ron in HS. As Kathy mentioned previously, he had a warm smile. He was also truly well liked by everyone. He always seemed to enjoy life, even when it wasn't particularly great to him. We will miss Ron.

I grew up with Ron in the Projects during the 60's and went to Pulaski HS with him. We played on various ball teams, best second baseman we ever had. In 1967 we boarded the same train out of New Haven heading for Basic Training for the Air Force. I remember somewhere around the New York border he looked at me and asked " What the hell are we doing here?". In the barracks he was on the second floor and I was on the first and after lights out, one of us would yell out..."What the hell are we doing here?" And the other would yell out, "It's your fault".So for the next 6 weeks we blamed each other. I am deeply saddened to hear this news, as a great friend and human being is no longer bringing joy to out lives. May God give Debbie and family strength. Ron gave me memories.
