Sebastian Milardo Obituary
Sebastian "Nutzie" S. Milardo, 86 of Portland passed away Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Middlesex Hospital. He was the son of the late Louis and Anna (Ruffino) Milardo. Born on May 23, 1927 in Middletown, he was a lifelong Portland resident and worked at Standard Knapp for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Portland Fire Co#1 and he was a U.S. Army veteran having served during Korea from 1952 to 1954. He leaves his sister, Rosemarie Nichols of Portland, nieces, Felicia Grzejszczak, Rosella Stevenson and Donna Delesdernier, nephews, John Pitruzzello, Philip Grzejszczak and William Nichols. He was predeceased by 4 sisters and a brother, Josephine Rand, Minnie Grzejszczak, Gen DiProto, Santina Pitruzzello and Frank Milardo. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday February 16, 2014 from 4 to 7PM at Portland Memorial Funeral Home 231 Main St Portland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project 4899 Belfort Rd Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL. 32256 (woundedwarriorsproject.org).
