Its hard to believe that my friend Bill has been gone for this long. I find myself looking @ Bill's picture form his sister Gail that I keep in my wallet. I know you are resting well and my guess is you have regained your scratch golfer status @ the big country club !

I am sorry for your loss. Bill had a great sense of humor and I had a lot of nice chats with him. I was glad I had a chance to meet him face to face.

It was not clear that this is Bill Burrows from Windsor High School 1972. If it is or is not I am very sorry for your loss. If it is he has 400 friends in the class that would want to know. Also if it is I would want you to know in addition to being the best golfer WHS ever had he was truly loved by all 400 of us.

It has all been very difficult to digest since Mr. Bill informed me of his situation. I was priviledged to be part of his challenge, conversing and meeting when we could. I will miss his dry sense of humor and his always positive outlook. He truly mirrored the term " Glass is half full " . Rest well my friend , you are in a better place. God Bless!!

Bill was my really true friend. Once I crossed paths with Bill I knew my life had changed. He was a one of a kind, not only my mentor but my friend. My condolences go out to the Sophie and the kids as this will be a huge hole in their lives. I am going to miss him dearly.

During the time I knew Bill his impression left with me was of his kindness and care for others. I'm sure he rests in God's hands for the care he gave to others. My sincere condolences to his loved ones and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill and reporting to him when he was hired at the Travelers. He was a good guy. He was big on doing something because it made sense and was the right thing to do. He was straightforward and up front. You always knew where you stood with him. He left us much too soon.

I'll never forget when I took a big step at work, trusting Bill and my co-workers with a deeply held secret. His response was not only complete verbal support, but he went out and bought pizza, cheesecake, Italian cookies, and marzipan to celebrate. He was classy and considerate to all.

Sophie and Family,
There are no words to describe how deeply saddened we all our here at Travelers. I met Bill 3 years ago and was fortunate enough to not only become an employee of his but also a good friend. Bill is missed very much, every day... Sending love and prayers to you and your family.
