He is survived by sons, Chad Monroe (Nikki), Richmond, Jon Kerry "Jay" Monroe, Eminence; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Grace Monroe, Eminence; grandson, Dakota Monroe, Richmond; his mother, Glenda Monroe (Don Dugle), Shelbyville; wife, Dianna Carol Padgett Monroe, Eminence; and special friend, Stacie Whitaker, Shelbyville.
Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at the Shannon Funeral Home.
