Many thanks to all of you that have taken the time to make it a little easier for my family and me to get through the minutes, hours and days. Your kindness and words does somehow make it a little easier. I am so thankful to know that she was loved and respected in the workplace and to know she had so many friends that loved her. I will be forever grateful for your support through our loss of Kimi. I can only hope that each of you find comfort in knowing that Kim loved working with her co-workers and truly enjoyed her profession. We will greatly miss her. Linda Delin Kimi's mother

I was blessed to be a coworker of Kim's. She came to work with a smile on her face, and an attitude to match. She was one of my favorites, and a wonderful RN. She was always helpful & genuinely a positive influence for all. We often talked about our boys, and she simply adored them. Kim will be greatly missed.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Kim through the University of Iowa. I rode up in the elevator on our way to work with her not two weeks ago and hold that encounter close to my heart as the last time I had a moment with her. She always had a smile and a friendly disposition. She will forever be well remembered and missed by all who knew her. I am so sorry for the loss of Kim. May she rest in peace.

I was privileged to work closely for several years with Kim. She was unfailingly kind and compassionate, and worked so hard to provide the best care to her patients. She was never satisfied with mediocrity and was a source of inspiration for me and her co-workers. It would be impossible to calculate how many lives she touched and the positive difference she has made in this world. She loved her boys very much and would just light up when she talked about them. Kimberly was one of the sweetest women I have ever known and she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all those she loved and left behind.
