I was shocked to hear of Andre's death and your loss. He was a wonderful person and will be missed. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to help.
Brit and Ash - I just lost my dad in May and can relate all too well to the shock and pain that this loss brings. Tears will fall, some days more than others. I am praying for you both. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Andre my good friend…you left too soon. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I know you were hurting and it must have felt wonderful to just finally let go but I miss you terribly. I had faith and hope that you would get well. I prayed about it. I wanted you to feel good again and laugh that crazy laugh of yours again. I wanted to see those unruly locks of hair on your Harley shirt shoulders and that HUGE fuzzed-out beard again. (Oh by the way…the guys from ZZ TOP called and they told me to tell you… “Nice beard Andre”) We had fun though didn’t we? All that craziness back in the day at MHS. I love you like a brother my friend. You came to Florida to see us many times and our time together was never long enough. Did you know that whenever I came back home to Decatur I would get absolute giddy with anticipation of seeing you again? Did you know it was enough for me to just sit in your Bug truck and just ride with you? Did you know how much I appreciated it when you asked me about my children by name? I want to say “thank you” Andre for letting me be your friend. The pleasure was all mine. Your stories made me laugh. The way you quietly helped people warmed my heart. I have severe hearing loss thanks to your HUGE speakers and Ted Nugent and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The concerts, the MHS Outdoor Club parties, the red Chevy and the “BARN”. The BARN!! You gave me a piece of the Barn a few years ago. Every time I look at I think about the Big Bamboo and Frampton’s Camel.
Rest easy now my brother. The cancer is gone. I visualize you falling right into God’s open arms. And our arms are around your family. They love you so much and they hurt right now. But soon the sting of death will be replaced by the 1000s of good memories you gave them. Love ya man!

Rarely do you find such a couple who everyone loved...but then there was you and Andre. No matter where or when you seen us or anyone else you always took the time to say Hello. Andre never passed anyone by without a smile. And on that day of his passing the world lost a wonderful man. I will continue to pray for you and the kids and the Lord will carry you when you are weak.

I just wanted to show my support for your family. Andre was always such a sweet man. I remember when Jeanelle was little and he would look at her. She didn't know whether to hide or smile. Soon she looked forward to seeing Andre at church. I've read the messages that others have left and they've said everything perfectly. Andre will be missed but remembered. Your family is strong and will remain that way.

I was totally blown away to hear of your loss, especially when I saw him almost every day heading home on his Harley around lunch time. He was a good hearted man and very dedicated family man.
Must make you proud to know, that no one will be missed as much as he will be!!

So sorry to hear of Andre passing. I enjoyed the times he'd sneak in for a haircut(although most the women in there never thought he got enough cut off,ha!)When he would pay he would always say"How much do you owe me!" You always knew that if you had to wait for a seat on a Saturday night a Roadhouse, you could sit with he and Charla and have a drink while you waited.He'll be missed by everyone who knew him.You guys take care of one another and cherish the memories!

Charla, I was so sad to hear that Andre had passed away. I really enjoyed knowing him for the short time I did. It was a bright spot in my day every time I saw you two come in to the office, Andre always had a big smile on his face and such a great sense of humor. Charla, I am at a loss for words at Andre's passing. I was in shock when I heard and I know the shock has been much worse for you. I have kept track of Andre ever since high school. I still remember the last time he was in our home. He was truly a great guy and will be missed so much. He always did the termite inspections for me and my kids. Just think! Andre doesn't feel pain anymore and he is enjoying his life in heaven! I don't feel sorry for him, just for you and Brit and Ashley and Claudia waiting to join him!
