Donna Lee Obituary

DECATUR - Donna Delight Lee 72 of Decatur died 1:20 p.m. Sunday (March 18, 2007) in Liberty Village Nursing Center of Clinton, IL. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday March 21st. at the Salvation Army Chapel 229 W. Main St. Decatur with Majors Robert & Joyce Gauthier officiating. Visitation will be one hour before in the chapel. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Women's Home League of the Salvation Army. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Donna was born August 18, 1934 in Decatur, daughter of Edward & Grace Logue Hartman. She worked many years as an underwriter for Federal Kemper Insurance Co. She especially enjoyed quilting and crocheting and camping at the Riverfront Campgrounds in Shelbyville, IL. She also loved going to Flea Markets especially the Covered Bridge Festival. She is survived by her daughter Vonda Dickey & husband Charles of Maroa, Twin sons Glen Lee & Lynn Lee of Oakley, grandsons Staff Sgt. Jacob L. Smith & wife Celina of Jacksonville, N.C., Jason Smith & wife Rachel of Lafayette, In., and their daughters Alexandra & Elizabeth Smith, granddaughter Judith Wood & husband Clint of Maroa, and their children Connor & Chloe Wood, sister Gracie Heitman of Decatur and by her beloved Pomeranian Maggie Mae. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward Hartman. The family would like to thank Dr. Ben Esparaz and Dr. Renata Moore and the staff of Cancer Care Specialist of Central Illinois, Dr. Robert Smith, Dr. Gregory and Vince and Staff, also Liberty Village for making Mom comfortable.
