I visited Jim in the hospital ICU a few days before his passing and was able to experience Jim's smile, the same as it was over 50 years ago. I asked Jim if he remembered a big football loss we took from arch rival Olney in the freezing Winter of 1959. He grinned big and said "no" to remembering the loss, but said he remembered it was really cold. Our prayers are with your family, you'll be missed.

My sympathy is extended to the entire Bryan family in the loss of Jim.
He was a good athlete and father. I have fond memories of our high school days at FTHS.

I first knew and became friends with Ulanda, and of course, then Jim. We used to double-date (even tho' I was from Clay City, IL). I was a bridesmaid in their wedding. The day he died I came across their wedding picture. What a handsome man! And a great baseball and basketball player. I have fond memories of him. My deepest sympathy to Kelly, Stephanie, and their families.

Jim was a grade school and high school classmate of mine and I have fond memories of those days growing up together in school. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim was a very "special" person in my life. We attended the Flora schools together--in the same class through the years. He was my very first boyfriend . :-) We started going together in the fifth grade. When we broke up--he started going with Ulanda---my best friend. Jim was always a dear friend---and I have missed seeing him through the years. I will always remember him--and--will keep the family in my thought and prayers.
