Ellen Amster Obituary
She moved to Miami as a teenager and completed public high school. Ellen was a very kind, loving mother and grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Harvey P Amster ( deceased), for 67 years. They had two daughters, Robin (deceased) and Caryn. She leaves behind two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ellen also had a wonderful son-in-law, who managed her healthcare and finances. Following a major stroke eight years ago, she was under the great care of Princess (Vernoia) Bell, who was responsible for her daily care while keeping her happy and with a positive attitude.
She will be most remembered for her strength, courage, beauty, and loyalty.
Services: Mount Nebo Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on September 19th, 2025.

And so it ends, lifetime friendships. First Stanley Mintz, then Harvey Amster, then Barbara Mintz, &, now, Ellen Amster, Stanley was my uncle & for most of my young years, Stan & Harvey were together, then Ellen was added & finally Barbara. Amster family, so sorry for your loss. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion & may your fondest memories bring you solace.

I was saddened to learn of Ellen Amster's passing. It has been many years since I have seen Ellen. I used to train and ride our horses with her husband Harvey in the 100-mile endurance rides each October on the famous Biltmore Estate and the ride in Umatilla, Florida in March. My condolences to her family, Stuart Rubin
