I worked with your dad at Loyd Frank
Vann Archiect. It was my first job
(age 15). Jake was all ways so kind
and helpful to me the officeboy. We
knew eachother until his retirement.
I retired July 2006 after teaching
architecture for 36 years. Much of
what I learned was from knowing and
working with Jake. A VERY GOOD MAN!

Dear Jimmy, Bonnie, Cathy and Family,
I just learned of your Dad's Christmas day passing and again am so saddened by this news......following the news of your Mom's death just a month or so ago. As I wrote to your Dad after your Mom's death, your parents were so important in my life and I will never forget them or the lessons they taught me.....mostly by example. Being close to your family and sharing and enjoying so many experiences because of them are memories I hold very dear to my heart. I mourn them both now and for your loss and so many others that knew and loved them.
I wonder sometimes how different I would be today had I not had the good fortune of meeting Bonnie and her wonderful family.
Please know I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.....and always in my heart. I would love to hear from any of you. I'm so sorry we have lost touch after all these years. But I have never forgotten!!!!!
Bless you all and may God be with you.

Dearest Children of J.H. and Mary NNunn, The Nunn Family was a very important part of my life. Marshall, and Eva Lou and I went to school together from kindergarden and Marshall and I through high school even though he was a year a head of me. The Sampson's - Nunn's and Maxcey's were the three families in the South part of Biscayne Park. What wonderful years and memories were made there. Even though J.H. was older than me the Sampson's and Nunn's were like brothers and sisters. I ate many a homemade biscuits that Mrs. Nunn made and the coconut candy was to die for.
My brothers, Glenn, Pat and Bill all were in your fathers and Celina's age group and went to school and ran together. I remember when your dad and mom were dating and Mary was the prettiest nicest lady I ever met. Just want to tell you what a hertiage you come from and I am sure without meeting you that you are as wonderful as your mother and father. Marshall and I keep in close contact and he is the one who let me know about your Mom and Dad's death. When I received the email from Marshall I had started a not to your father regarding the loss of his beloved wife Mary. A good reminder not to put off anything. I would hav e loved to have let J.H. know that he was in my thoughts and prayers. So my dear children - I send my love and prayers to you and your families and remember what you have gained in life from your mother and father and not your loss as they will be with you forever.

Dear Jim, Bonnie,Cathy and families. I was so saddened to hear of Jay's passing so soon after your Mom. Your loss is one I share with you. Long ago ( in what seems like another life)they were our dearest and closest friends. We shared many good times together and some hard times. They were so good to me at the most traumatic time of my life and I never forgot their goodness. I migbt never have gotten thru those years without their caring. Your Dad was my confident and gave me much good advice at a time when Iwas so lost. They are in my heart forever.
Love to you all,
Anna Mae

Jay and Mary will be greatly missed. Each were wonderful individuals that brought joy to the people that were lucky enough to have met them.

Jay & Mary were dear to us while Lamoyne was teaching the SS class at FBC. I have very fond memories of them both and I know they will be missed. But they are both now free of pain and with the Lord - of this I am sure!
