Mr. Schwebel was my 5th grade teacher at Tropical Elementary in 1975. I still remember his kindness and sense of humor. He was my favorite teacher. Educators like him do not exist these days. The angels in heaven must be smiling now upon his arrival. My belated condolences to his family. My God bless you and keep you and cause his face to shine upon you and give you peace.

Zelda, Andy, Jamie, Laura, Anne -
I don't have to tell you how sad I am about John's passing - there's no way I could express the way I feel. We were best of friends for 66 years - he was a brother to me and I'll miss his more than I can ever say ----

Dear Zelda, Andy and Jamie,
If you can go through life and find one great best friend you are a lucky soul. My husband Joe and John became best friends ( almost brothers) many years ago at Tropical Elementary. Their friendship flourished and so our families came together.
I have many wonderful memories, thoughts, laughs and cries throughout the years of the Schwebels and the Wolfsons.
John was my rock during Joes last few days on earth and I know he was a comfort to Joe.
Life will never replace either of them but our memories will live on. Love You All.
