Miami, Florida - Beloved mom, Nona, sister, educator, & friend, passed away on Aug 28, with her two kids, Alison Adriana & James Christopher, at her side. Born March 5, 1947, in New York, to the late Francis Anthony Caiazzo & Adrienne Epitropu Caiazzo, Louise was raised in Pelham Manor, NY, the oldest of 5: Frank (Jennifer), Robert (Lauren), Christopher, & the late Christina. Her treasured blessings called her Nona (Bella Louise & Chancellor Anthony) or Mom [Alison & James (Elizabeth)]. Formerly married to Fred, she was a proud & loving Aunt & friend to so many.
A retired teacher who served her entire tenure of over three decades at Coconut Grove Elementary School, thus, multiple generations came to love & respect her dedication, discipline, passion, & commitment to helping kids achieve their fullest potential. Her hard-working nature & motivating spirit live on in the classrooms & halls of Coconut Grove Elementary. Even after retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Snapper Creek Elementary School while her grandkids were in attendance. In all she did, Louise embodied strength, grace, perseverance & an unwavering faith in our Heavenly Father. Aside from her kids & grandkids, her sense of humor & ability to share stories are among her greatest gifts & legacies.
All are invited to celebrate her glorious life & legacy: Visitation: Thu Sep. 8, 2:00 - 7:30 P.M. Van Orsdel Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Dr. Funeral Mass: Fri Sep. 9, at 10:00 A.M., St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1400 Miller Rd. Burial to follow, Graceland Memorial Park South, 13900 SW 117th Ave.
