I miss Ted but continue to smile when I look around my home at all the things he did for us. From hanging fans and pictures, to building book cases and other things, to painting and doing repairs. I miss our conversations as we both worked. I miss including Ted on my list for during holiday baking. I miss his stories. I think of you often Ted as a friend.

To the family of Ted Adams specifically his son;
We don´t know each other but as the holidays have arrived, I think often of your dad, Ted. There are so many projects that came up for me that he was part of and I miss him. I was unaware Ted was doing poorly when he texted me from Baptist Hospital that he was undergoing procedures and treatment, and thinking of selling his house to move to be closer to you in Orlando. He was so surprised and thrilled when you and he reconnected. He loved your family and how you welcomed him. It was important late in life joy. Ted had so many interests that opened his world - his friends, antiques, cars and animals. I hope he was able to tie up loose ends, and find peace although I thought Ted would go on forever. I know he does in my memories, and I hope his family´s as well.

Ted was a great friend and neighbor to us on Indiana Street for nearly 20 years. We had moved away but recently saw his house for sale. He spoke of his son often, and I met him one day months ago when I passed by. What a very brilliant and genuine person Ted was. The world is a sadder place without his selfless love and humor. Rest in peace, dear Ted. Roland and Kathryn Banks. 3265 Virginia Street #8, Coconut Grove 33133

Ted Adams was the handy guy I called to figure out how to fix and repair things around my house and for my brother. Ted became a friend. I was his fan. Ted had so many interests and talents and could tell a good story. I loved baking him my holiday Key Lime cakes & knowing he enjoyed them. I was thrilled that Ted and his son reconnected after many years. He was so happy about that! I was sad to hear his health was failing. I will miss my friend. Rest peacefully, Ted.
