Tracy Childers Obituary
He was born in Klamath Falls, OR on August 24, 1965 to Robert Horace and Rita(Harrington) Childers. Tracy attended Sacred Heart and Henley High School. In 1983, he enlisted in the Army and was a member of the Oregon National Guard for four years.
Tracy was an avid hunter- you could always find him on Klamath Lake during duck and goose season or out in his favorite deer hunting spot looking for the big buck. Calling in the big toms during turkey season and picking mushrooms with his friend Doug. He was a self-taught taxidermist, practicing on his own ducks became his hobby.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years Cindy Childers; sons Trenton Childers & wife Sierra; Connor Childers & wife Liz; mother Rita Childers; brother Dave Foster & sister-in-law Susie; father-in-law Don Rider & wife Orlene; sister-in-law Betsy Felsinger & husband Jon; grandchildren Avery, Malakai, & Mila Childers; numerous cousins, nieces, & nephews; life-long friend Doug Sunday; and our furbabies
Tracy was preceded in death by his father Bob Childers; sister Nancy Rowland; brothers Mike Foster, Rob Childers, John Childers, & Tom Childers; mother-in-law Vickie Rider
Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 815 High Street, Klamath Falls, OR at 10 a.m. A potluck lunch will follow. Private family internment will be held at a later date

This is so sad. Tracy and my son Dale were best friends and hunting buddies all through high school. Dale passed on Nov 4, 1988. My heart goes out to you all. We loved Tracy and all the boy´s hunting stories. One night I think it was New Year´s Eve. Rita came to our home in pine grove. There was a terrible snow storm and the boys had not returned from hunting. She came to our home and they finally showed up. No cell phones in those days. Dales truck had broken down so here comes on these two wore out boys and two dogs.
