Howard David Counts

COUNTS, Howard David, age 88 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. He was born on Sept. 23, 1926, in Princeton, Ala. to the late Joe and Viola Counts and later served in the United States Army during World War II. Howard loved to go flea marketing and to auctions. He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Dianne (Dave) Dancey of Shell Knob, Mo.; son, David Wayne (Marci) Counts of Bogata, Columbia, South America; and grandsons, Zach Counts and Darren Tornow. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, from noon-1:45 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester with Rev. Richard Morgan officiating.
