Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth E. Smith Sr. will be conducted Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 1 p.m. from New Hope Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Bristol, VA.

Kenny was a very nice man who was always good to me when I officiated basketball games with him and always made a point to speak to me when he saw me at a game after he retired from officiating. I surely will miss his kind words. Prayers for his family.
