1961 - 2018

Los Angeles, CA - Brian Robert Reichelt. On January 30, 2018, Our Lord held out his hand and said to Brian, "Come follow me." Brian willingly followed him. Brian and several friends died in a helicopter crash in California. Rest in peace.
Brian was born September 2, 1961 in Everett, Washington, the middle son of Rodney and Carol Reichelt. Growing up he enjoyed the experiences of living in different areas of the country and being part of a military family. It was those experiences that inspired him as an adult to travel extensively to many parts of the world.
Brian was active at all levels of scouting and received the ranks of Eagle Scout and Ad Altare Dei. He served as a counselor at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico in the summers during his college years.
Brian graduated from Sherman High School in 1979. He graduated from Austin College in 1983, he received a degree in Business Administration. He was employed as the financial director of Standard Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
Brian is survived with fond memories by his parents, his brother Kevin, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his special friend Brigado Legaspi well as many friends he acquired through his travel and work experiences. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his brother Jeff.
Rosary will be held Friday evening February 16, 2018 6:30 at Waldo Funeral Home, followed by visitation from 7-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11am with interment following at St. Mary's Cemetery. Father Jeremy Meyer will officiate.
