Harold Anderson

FARMERSVILLE - Harold Dwayne Anderson, 81, of Farmersville, passed away on August 6, 2015 in Farmersville. He was born March 19, 1934 in Whitewright, Texas to Melvin and Berniece Ross Anderson. Harold graduated from Sherman High School and served in the Army and was stationed in Korea. He married Brenda Hartline on November 25, 1960 and was married 55 years. Harold retired from Verizon after 35 years and drove for C Cart for 14 years in McKinney. He resided in Garland 20 years and 36 years in Farmersville. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville.

Mr. Anderson is survived by: wife, Brenda Anderson, son, Joel Anderson, two grandsons, Justin Anderson of Victoria and Ryan Anderson of Roundrock, former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Patterson of Roundrock; one brother, Johnny Anderson and wife Pansy of Farmersville, brother-in-law, Kenneth and wife Teresa Hartline, numerous nieces and other family.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Berniece Anderson and one sister Dee Harland.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the chapel of Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville. Dr. Bart Barber officiated. Interment will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
