Jimmy Pappas Obituary
Jimmy Theo Pappas was born on June 6, 1938 in Athens, Greece to Sofia Andrikapoulos, and later adopted by Theo and Helen Pappas. He met and married Irene Krikas in Kalamata, Greece in 1965 and they moved to Sherman, Texas. In 1978, they moved to Houston, Texas. After spending 25 years in the Alief area of Houston, they settled in the Richmond, Texas area, where they have lived since 2003. Prior to 2003, he and his family attended the Annunciation Greek Church in Houston, and since then he and Irene have been members of St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church in southwest Houston. For the last 21 years, Jimmy fought Parkinson's Disease. Jimmy had a big heart and gentle spirit, and his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and his family.
Jimmy Theo Pappas passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, in Sugar Land, Texas, at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Irene Pappas; daughter, Sophia H. Biasiolli and her husband Chris, and granddaughter, Megan A. Biasiolli; daughter Vicky V. Bingham and her husband Ron; brother, Bill Pappas and his wife Cindy; as well as three loving nieces and several grandnieces and nephews.
