Robert Heinz Obituary

Robert Eugene Heinz, 86, of Pottsboro passed away at Homestead of Denison, Friday, April 6, 2012. Robert was born July 4, 1926, in Ellenwood, Kan. to Jake and Berth Andra Heinz. He was a 4th degree Knight, and loved woodworking, hunting and fishing. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. He moved to this area 17 years ago from Arkansas, and was a plumber. He married Dorothy Heinz on August 30, 1992 in Garden City, Kan.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of the home; his children, Pat Oborny and husband Ken of Timken, Kan., Joyce Stricker and husband Dennis of Great Bend, Kan., Robert J Heinz and wife JoAnne of Pottsboro, Ed Heinz and wife Angie of Garden City, Kan.; his sisters, Margaret Heinz, of Ellenwood, Kan., Shirley Heinz, of Salida, Colo;, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, many friends and other relatives.

Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Ester Rohlman Heinz and his parents, Jake and Berth Heinz.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
