Darell passed away in Sun City, Arizona on December 5th at the age of 90.
Darell was born in Gallup City, Montana and moved to Snohomish, WA with this family when he was young. He joined the Marine Corps in 1949, was in the Korean War (Battle at Chosin Reservoir) and discharged in 1957 to help his family when his father died. He then married Shara (Johnson) Rosa and had three children, where they resided in Shoreline, WA for many years. Darell spent his career working for V. Van Dyke Trucking, hauling oversized loads for bridge and other commercial construction.
Darell retired and moved to Arizona, spending most of his retirement years in the small town of Wickenburg. He and Pat traveled across the U.S., enjoying parks and exploring military museums.
Darell leaves behind his wife Pat of 21 years, his ex-wife Shara Rosa, his children, JoAnn (Yoder) Staheli, James Yoder & Doug Yoder and two grandchildren Stephanie Staheli and Riley Staheli. He also leaves behind his siblings Marvin, Robert, Gary, Judy, Richard, Jack and many nieces and nephews.
Those who knew him remember his humor and pranks. He will be missed by many.
