David Kroll Obituary


David Allan Kroll

David Allan Kroll was born on September 18, 1980 in Aberdeen, SD to Allan and Kim (Schmidt) Kroll. He passed away on March 10, 2012.
He attended school in Marysville, WA and transferred to Groton his junior year. Following graduation, Dave returned to Washington and worked for J.O.B. Construction as a project manager.
He was united in marriage with Kyla Nelson on April 19, 2008 in Marysville. Together, they had one son, Joshua David. In July of 2008, they moved back to South Dakota and David was employed with Kyburz-Carlson Construction.
David was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ferney, SD. Growing up, he was active in many different sports, including soccer, wrestling, basketball and football. He excelled as a pitcher and played Legion Baseball after returning to South Dakota. Dave enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and listening to music.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his parents, Allan Kroll of Conde, Kim Sanderson (Angelo Duarte) of Marysville; his wife, Kyla; son, Joshua; step-daughter, Alyza White; all of Marysville; his brothers, Branden Kroll, Travis Sanderson, A.J. Duarte; and sister, Samantha Sanderson. He is also survived by his step-brother, Cody Bonn; his paternal grandmother, Alice Kroll of Andover; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, George and Deloris Schmidt; and his paternal grandfather, Walter Kroll.
Services for David will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ferney. Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate.
Inurnment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Paetznick - Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton. www.paetznick-garness.com

From myself, as well as all those who knew David from our youth at Cedarcrest we are deeply saddened to hear of this tragic news. I haven't seen David in years but spent many good times with him growing up. He will forever be in my memories of that simple time in our lives.
