Deborah K. Leu
She left behind a 14 year old son, Michael, and 2 year old daughter, Ariana; parents, George and Barbara; sisters, Danielle, Donna and Darlene; brothers-in-law, Bob, Damon and Bryan; six nephews; and one grandmother, Doris.
Debi had a kind and generous heart. She was a beautiful woman who loved her children with all her heart and soul. Debi has gone home to be with the Lord, may she find peace at last. You may share your thoughts and memories of Debi on-line at www.valleyfuneralandcremationservice.com
A celebration of Debi's life will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the Thayer's home.
Memorials may be made in Debi's memory to: Support Officer Community Care, Attention: Kendra, P.O. Box 1102, Bellingham, WA 98227 or Families & Friends of Violent Crime Victims, 1231 N Garden St. #220, Bellingham, WA 98225.

I am sorry for your loss. I came to Lakewood in 8th grade, and Debi was 1 of the first to talk to me & welcome me to the school. She was an amazing person and will be greatly missed.

God only knows the plan for us, but somehow I think someone interrupted his thoughts for Deb's time here with us. I will never forget the times we had in school and so far there isnt a day that goes by and I havent thought about you and how your life was ended far to soon. Love you always and my thoughts are with your family.

I have so many wonderful and heartwarming childhood memories of Debi, it would be hard to pick just one. From camp fire days through adulthood, she was always a beautiful and loyal friend. I am so sorry for your loss. You are most certainly in my prayers.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Deborah and her daughter during a stay in seattle. We shared a bond in the short time we had and that was our everlasting love for our children. I send many prayers and love to her family in this time of mourning. To the entire family,
I am glad I got to know Deb. She was very special. She had the ability to be so real. She didn't hide her challenges, nor did she feel she had to pretend to be someone she wasn't. She loved her children and wanted to be the best mother she could be to them. I can't begin to imagine what transpired to create this horrible situation, but the world is a better place for her having been in it, even for such a short time.
