As a kid I looked up to Jon and the other wrestlers who came before me. I vividly remember him throwing Theo White for five in the Lake Stevens gym. :-) He was a hard worker who truly earned his success which is a powerful thing to see as a young wrestler. In recent years I was lucky to have worked with him. He was often at our job sites saw cutting. I would follow behind him with the vacuum and reminisce about the old days and discuss our current situation with our kids. We had a lot in common and he provided me an outlet to vent about my own demons and struggles. I will always value the time we had together and am thankful for what he did for me. My thoughts go out his family and friends.

Father, I pray for (Jonathan Edward Thenell Sharpe) family and friends who are grieving..
When they're hurting, help them find their joy in You, for it's Your joy that will be their strength. Help them to trust You as their God of hope. Fill them with Your joy, peace, and hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Help them experience the love, joy, and peace that are the results of His life in them, no matter what they're going through.

Favorite memories of Jonathan: He LOVED these packaged dry fruit snacks that were in some of the kids' lunches we served at the Boys and Girls Club. He would dig through the crate to find them, in the "share" box. Also; a couple summers ago we had the little kids plant various seeds. Sasha planted purple pole beans that I had saved from my garden. Jonathan returned to bring me a harvested bean from her plant! That showed how interested he was in her, and the things that made her happy. I'm so sorry that the kids have lost their dad, and that his family has lost a son, brother, nephew... loved one.

Dear Nancy and family, I am so sorry for the sudden loss of Jonathan. He was always such a fun and happy little boy growing up and that is how I will always remember him. I've known the Sharpe family for many years. They're a terrific, loving and caring family. I did not get to spend as much time with Jonathan but I know Jason and his siblings and parents truly loved and cared deeply for him. I want to extend my deepest condolences and thoughts.
