Sidney N. Koffski

Sid was born April 7, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on June 25, 2011 in Everett, Washington.
Sid was the second of three children born to Karl and Mary Koffski. They moved to the Everett area when he was about five years old. Sid attended schools in the Mukilteo and Everett school district and graduated from Everett High School in 1953. He worked at Scott Paper Company for 30 years as an Instrument Mechanic.
He married Helen Lloyd on August 26, 1955. They had two children, Karen and Mike. Sid enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. In later years, he loved going to various casinos.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Karen Yount (Bobby), and son Mike Koffski. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brian Koffski (Cora), Heather Hammond (Zach), Eric Koffski, Bo Yount; and sisters, Karla Caldart and Connie Delp (George.)
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Cascade View Presbyterian Church, 1030 E Casino Rd Everett at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Bethany at Pacific for their special attention to Sid during his time there.

Connie, so sorry to hear about Sid's passing...when I saw it in the paper this morning, I thought, "that's Connie's Dad"....at least this is how I remember your Dad. Wasn't around Sid much, all I remember is "I had a crush on him and his good looks"...but I was just a "kid" to him. LOL LOL Would like to be at the service, if possible, but know, I am thinking of you every day and will be praying for you and the service. (if I don't make it) Love, your friend..Gerri
