George P. FerranFORT MILL - George P. Ferran, of Fort Mill, S.C., a WWII veteran, Georgetown University alumnus, Rotarian, and an international businessman, entered eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nilda; daughters, Aurora Jeanne Diamond of Oregon, Georgina Susan Messer and husband, Randall of Merrimack, N.H., Maria Cristina Jadick and husband, Michael S. of Houston, Texas, and Maria Elena Ferran of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Kira Garcia of Oregon, Christopher George Messer of Boston, Mass., Michael George Jadick and Andrew Jadick, both of Houston, Texas, and Sarah Austen Ford and Lynn Casswell Ford, both of Charlotte, N.C.; brother, Robert W. Ferran and his wife, Margaret of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Irene Rogers of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Bud Rosch of Bethpage, N.Y.; and many beloved extended family members. A lover of nature and special lover of trees, in lieu of flowers, he would be most happy to have a special tree planted in his honor. Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at St. Philip Neri, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, S.C. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, S.C.
