YORK - Mrs. Imogene "Jeanne" Wiley Wright, of 2127 S. Paraham Road, York, S.C., was born Feb. 9, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Harry and Louise Wiley. She departed this life Feb. 2, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Pineville AME Zion Church in Rock Hill, S.C., with Pastor Pegues presiding. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before the funeral service.
A public viewing will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Wright Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish fond memories her husband of 44 years, Elwood M. Wright Sr. of the home; one daughter, Michele Wright; one son, Elwood M. Wright Jr.; two grandchildren, Julian Wright and Tyjamalick Wright; four brothers, Harry Lee Wiley Jr., Terry Wiley, Ronnie Wiley and Edmond Wiley; and a host of other family and friends.
