Rock Hill, South Carolina - Rock Hill, SC – James "Jamie' Thomas Cuthbertson, 62, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his family home.
Jamie was born on August 27, 1961, to the late John Thomas Cuthbertson and Ima Jean Fox Cuthbertson in Carlisle, SC. Jamie worked in construction as a General Foreman and Superintendent for Fluor for over 30 years and worked for various other construction companies too. He loved his family. In his pastime, he enjoyed fishing, the mountains, traveling, watching Andy Griffin, and especially spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Sherri L. Cuthbertson; his daughter, Kayla Cuthbertson; his step-children, Anthony (Kerry) Duncan, David (Michelle) Duncan, Wayne (Tiffani) Duncan, and Tracy (Jay) Thurmond; his brother, David (Faye) Cuthbertson; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Beth (Ricky) Mellon, and Allan (Donna) Cook; his brother-in-laws, Donnie and David Cook; his aunt, Shirley Jimison; his aunt, Nelly Dean Hunter; his grandchildren, Nora, Jordan, Kobe, Luke, Ashley, Sara, Braylen, Cole, Dakota; his great-grandchildren, Parker, Paislee, Charleigh, Noah; his cousins, Jeff Jimison, Gary Jimison, Steve Hunter, Todd Hunter and Renee Hensley; his nephews, Jason, Mike, Ricky, Chris, Kyle Cuthbertson, Morgan Hunter, Bill Fender, Kenny Fender, Jeannie Ridley; his nieces, Bettyjean Allen, Nevey Young.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ima Cuthbertson; his brother, Michael Cuthbertson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Johnny and Wilma Cook; his cousin, Robbie Hunter.
