Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Mary Whitaker DuBard, 90, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 in Rock Hill.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. DuBard was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. DuBard, Jr; parents, Troy Whitaker and Lillian Drennen Whitaker; and her sister, Betty W. Spencer. She was a member of Ebenezer ARP Church for 63 years, a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Winthrop College, and retired from the Rock Hill School District.
Survivors include her sons, Rocky DuBard (Karen) of Rock Hill and Danny DuBard (Betty) of Conway, SC; sister, Nancy W. Hanna of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Rob DuBard (Brenda), Linlee Swatkowski (Jeff), Chad DuBard, Mary Kate Morrison (Ben), Karlee Ferguson (Shawn); 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 2. 2022 at Ebenezer ARP Church 2132 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends following the service at the Bailey Center of the Church.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. DuBard's name to Ebenezer ARP Church or to the charity of one's choice.

I so fondly remember Mrs. Dubard!!! I thought her sense of humor was so sharp and her patience level with me was amazing ~ She worked hard with me and then, she looked at me one day and said "...you really have know idea/concept of Algebra, do you??!!" With my nod, we both broke up laughing. Her hopeless student xxx Thank you Mrs. Dubard xxx
