Wendy was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Marion, Ind., to Marjorie Reece and Charles Vanlandingham. She graduated from Oak Hill High School in Converse, Ind., and later married the love of her life, Wallace "Wally" Warren on Aug. 26, 1967, at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, where she was a long-time member. Wendy worked many years for People Savings and Loan as a bank manager. She later became a real estate broker in Southwest Michigan and enjoyed helping families find their forever homes. Wendy was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family. She was woman who took life seriously but could be quietly funny with unexpected humor. One of her greatest joys was caring for the children in her life.

Survivors include her five daughters: Suzette Newman of Baroda, Jennifer (Matthew) Meyer of Sheboygan, Wis., Julie (Eugene) Doerr of Cornelius, N.C., Sabrina (Joshua) Hunt of Aurora, Ill., and Nicole (Richard) Rabakozi of Morgantown, W.V.; her grandchildren: John and David Newman; Emma, Mary and Jack Doerr; Megan, Kiersten, Erin and Leighton Meyer, Hayley, Grayce and Owen Hunt; three great-grandchildren: Quinn, Zachary and Rowen Newman; honorary granddaughter, Tatum Vanlandingham; and siblings: Becky (Bruce) Janko and Nicholas (Barb) Vanlandingham.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Vanlandingham, and her husband, Wallace Warren Jr.
