Paul W. Jeter, Sr., 77, a winter resident of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Spartanburg, S.C., died on Mar. 28, 2013. Visitation will be held on Fri., Apr. 5, 2013 in Buffalo, NY. Services will be held on Fri. in Buffalo, NY. Funeral arrangements by: Chandler's Funeral Chapel.
He is survived by wife of 55 years, Elease; Mother, a son and 5 grandchildren.

My Dearest, Best Friend Paul, It's Me again, Amelite! I'm missing you so much. I miss your friendship, our talks..."about nothing," your wisdom, your encouragement, your thoughts, your opinions...I could go on and on....Paul this time of the year you'd be trying to figure out what to get your Grandchildren for Christmas and you would say, "I'm not getting much, they got Parents!" And you would be ordering boxes of Oranges for your long distance friends & making sure you mailed out Christmas Checks for those Special People. I was glad to be your "partner in crime." I often wonder what would Paul say or do? Well, you have your Mom & Dad with you resting peacefully.I know how you loved to tease your Mom, but you could not get home quick enough to take her for a ride. You now have 2 great-granddaughters now. Your Jeter Family is doing fine. Keep looking over us my Dear, we All miss You and love You. I think of you everyday and I will always cherish Our Friendship and I will Love You Always.

I saw a young lady heading out to her second job as a McDonald employee. She is a single Mom tending to 4 young ones. I thought about you Mr. Jeter and how you helped so many struggling young mothers to have that extra income to feed the babies. Many citizens in our community had better chances because of you. We all Thank You and will always remember you. It still doesn't seem real you are gone, I miss you....

When I heard the news I was in Florida so I was not able to attend services. I remember Paul pushing me hard succeed in the business. I was promoted as a manager and got my start at Del/Grider and Gen/Bailey with Horace and Paul. I remember Mr Jeter ( Paul's dad) he was always busy fixing this or that at the restaurants and Paul would speak to his Dad about whatever the problem was or a fix and I remember Paul intent or seriousness as listening to his Dad speak and could c how much respect he had for his Dad. I remember at Gen/Bailey Paul making me take that darn shake machine down and I had to figure out why it was not working. He would take me in the lobby and stand me at a certain point of the restaurant to look as a customer (customer observation) to spot what was wrong with the operation . I cried a few times not understanding but roughed it out and realized what his point was. And stayed with McDonald's for 36 years so my point is Paul saw something I did not know I had and I appreciate that. Kirk to you I remember you working that fry station as a little boy you were so eager to work and so quick( lol) my prayers to you and your Mom and just remember the great times you had and the values your parents put in you and do better. Peace and grace be with the entire Jeter family and I'm very Greatful for the opportunity Paul gave me it took me on a wonderful journey. Kirk look me up I'd love to remind you of those good old days. My sincere respects to you all

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jeter years ago when my sister (Inez Walker was working for his brother Hosea on Grider). Earlier on I would see Mr Jeter and he always had a smile on his face.
