Reach always so easy going, my oldest brother, after my Dad died the support for his siblings and Mother. The shoulder to lean on, the sound mind knowing what to say, he watched over us all in a nonchalant kind of way. He made us feel safe with his smarts and advice, always down to earth, positive, friendly, and nice.Reach, Reacho, Jim, James, hard to say good bye to , now cancer pulls him away, and it is something I am forced to do. He passes on a day in May, as I focus on a orchard tree in bloom outside of his room. I take in the warmth of the sun shining down on me and the tree, remembering the good old days in the sun with the family. The trees orchard leaves shine against the blue sky, as full and strong as it looks leaves drop, fall, and die. I take in its beauty, knowing it’s time in the sun will soon be a memory , and now Reach is also the same to me. I think, we all have our time to shine against the blue sky, then we all have our time when we must die and say goodbye. We must cherish our time here when we can shine in the sun, when we can bloom and blossom, until our time is done. So as I think of my brother and the pretty leaves falling off the tree, I whisper to both, “thank you for my beautiful memory.” Jan Wallace Bokatzian 5- 12- 2013 ❤ My brother Reach Jim James Wallace , the pharmacist, smart brother was fun and loved family and a music loving soul! Reach was one of my father's best friends. He was like an another uncle to us growing up. I'm am so very sorry to hear of his passing. He was always so friendly, social, and happy when I saw him. I will miss running into him when I'm in Wyandotte. I know that my father and Reach are probably already smiling and laughing together up in heaven.

You were a point of clarity in my teen years - though long ago and for a short period, will always be thankful for your impact on me.

I had the privelage of marrying his sister Joyann, and through Joy, I have very happy that I got to know Jim "Reach". I truly enjoyed our Friday night "hang togethers", laughing and drinking. Life was truly lived by James Wallace. I am proud to have been your brother-in-law Love always, David.

Wallace family,
You could never NOT laugh or smile when you were in Reach's company. I don't remember any negativity that came from him. He had a infectious laugh and a easy going personality.
We will truly miss him.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers....
