Benjamin "Ben" Gray Gantt, 74, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away June 5, 2024.

A native of Hickory, NC, son of the late Robert Clegg Gantt, Jr. and Alice Anita Gray Gantt, he was a hardworking man, avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, and a loving dad and pawpaw.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen Gray Gantt (Vicky), of Inman, SC, and Benjamin Colby Gantt (Kelly), of Woodruff, SC; two daughters, Alicia Gantt Phillips (William), of Lenoir, NC, and Valerie Cuzzone-Maurer (Michael), of Orange, MA; two sisters, Bobbie Johnson Gould, of Simpsonville, SC, and Jeanna Gantt Kerley, of Hickory, NC; and four grandchildren, Jackson Owens Gantt, Austin Carr Phillips, Mikayla May Maurer, and Michael Matthew Maurer, Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
