Dear Jean, I'm so sorry to hear about Danny. Even though I never see you, I still think of you every now and then. It's funny how some people never fade from your mind. You and Danny were always so happy. I still see your smile. We've talked on the phone a few times when I had to call Garden of Memory, but I haven't seen you in forever. Know you and your children are in my prayers. Peggy Merritt Floyd NHS Class of '66

Jean and girls, our sincere, heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of Danny. You will be in our prayers daily, presented to God on your behalf. May He comfort, strengthen, and encourage you all as you travel this path. Know this, Christ is by your side every step and will, according to His truth, even carry you as you go. We have that promise to claim. Among the commands for a man from God, they are to love, protect, and provide for his wife and family in an honerable way. We are sure God is well pleased with your husband and dad, Danny. May God's peace that passes all understanding be yours.

Jean and the girls,
Danny was such a wonderful person. We will truly miss all his great stories he would tell while we were out to dinner with you. I know he loved you all so much. Especially the time he spent playing video games with the grandkids. May he rest in peace, and may you all find the strength to get through this very difficult time.

Dawn and family, I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts, prayers and love go out to each and everyone in the family. Dawn and I have only worked together for a few short months but friendship grew very fast. I had the pleasure of meeting Danny, once at the shop, and could tell just by talking to him what a warm and good husband, father and grandfather he must have been. May God Bless you and comfort you as only He can.

Dear Jean and Girls,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and my heart goes out to you. I too lost my son James just a few weeks ago and buried him at GOM. I knew later that day when I visited James' grave that Danny must have done it because he did such a beautiful job on it. I felt that he did that for me. I don't ever remember a time when he wasn't talking about his wife, his girls or his grandchildren. He was loved by many, touched many and will always be thought of with love. May the lord wrap his arms around you and keep you through this time and know that you are loved and thought of often.

Danny Lee was one of my earliest friends both at Lowrance and Hanes. I had to pass his house every day on the walk home and would often stop to play. He was always funny and great to be around, and you always knew where you stood with him. From reading other entries in this guestbook, it seems those characteristics remained constant in Danny's life. The photo you have posted captures my memory of him so well--a little imp with gleaming eyes poised to pull his next stunt. I know his family will miss him greatly, but I hope knowing so many of us thought he was a good man will help ease that hurt.

Jean and Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Danny. I had the pleasure and good fortune of working with Danny at the old Advance Auto store in Parkway Plaza back in the late 70's. Danny was a great mechanic but more than that, he was a fantastic human being. He had a sense of humor second to none. It was fun to come to work, just to be with him. He is in a far, far better place now, even though we all want him here with us on Earth. May God bless each and every one of you at this most difficult of times.

Danny was a good man and a wonderful grandfather. This man showed the true meaning of caring. I will always remember him as one of the most giving people that I have ever known. He always brought out the best in people, and was truly blessed to have such a loving family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jean and all her family.
