Frank Sterle Obituary

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - Frank Joseph "Pap Pap" Sterle Jr., 58, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born in Morgantown, W.Va., he was a son of the late Maxine and Frank J. Sterle Sr. Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Shauna Sterle of Pawleys Island, S.C.; son, Joey Sterle and his partner, Jason Baker, of Vandergrift, Pa.; a daughter, Robin and spouse, Mike Walls, of Morgantown, W.Va.; a stepson, Brad and spouse, Staci Barnum, of Carmichaels, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Shaye and spouse, Ryan Heiskell, of Georgetown, S.C.; grandchildren, Christian, Madison, Marshall, Tug, Phinn and Lillie; and a sister, Belinda and spouse, John McCormick, of Morgantown, W.Va. A celebration of life with friends and loved ones will be held at a later date. Robin and Joey, I was so shocked to hear of your loss. You dad was a great guy and will be greatly miss. I was just remembering the good old days at Delmar the other day. Your dad was the first to predict I would have a boy when I was pregnant with Alex, and he was right. Let us know if you need anything and please post the celebration info on facebook for us.
