Gary L. Fauser

NEWTON - Gary Lee Fauser, 66, of Pioneer Drive, Newton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Veterans Hospital in Asheville. Born Jan. 21, 1942, in Oneida County, N.Y., he was the son of the late George Fauser. Gary was a member of Mount Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden and a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition to his father, his wife, Janice Fauser, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Helen Meier Fauser of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one son, Jonathon Fauser of Newton; one daughter, Kitty O'Neal of Newton; one brother, Bob Fauser of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one sister, Sandra Fauser of Florida; and four grandchildren, Christopher Lynch, Angalique Edmondson, Ronny O'Neal and Luke Fauser. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Mount Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden, with the Rev. Donald Cline officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by members of American Legion Post 16 of Newton. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Mount Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden, prior to the service.
