Stephen "Steve" Rhodes

February 17, 1956 - November 10, 2022

Stephen "Steve" Ray Rhodes, 66, of Hudson, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at AMOREM in Hudson.

He was born Feb. 17, 1956, in Kent County, Mich., to the late Ores Leroy Rhodes and Gail Christianson Rhodes. Steve was a member of North American Lutheran Church and an IT whiz. He enjoyed listening to contemporary Christian music, vacationing out on the water at Smith Mountain Lake, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Rhodes.

Those left to cherish his memory are son, Gregory Rhodes of Summerfield; daughter, Christina Rhodes of Jamestown; brother, Michael Rhodes of Huntsville, Ala.; and grandchildren, Scarlett Grace Yow and Gregory Cash Yow.

A service to celebrate Steve's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m., at St. James Lutheran Church in Newton. The Rev. David Hefner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 p.m., at St. James Lutheran Church.
