Richard Pharo Obituary
RICHARD age 79 of Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village. Richard was born in Detroit on October 10, 1936 to Arthur and Katherine (Doench) Pharo. He was a 1954 graduate of Denby High School and a 1958 graduate of Lawrence Technological University. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy with 2 years of active duty and 4 years in the reserves. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling in his RV. Richard is survived by his brother, Kenneth Pharo; nieces, Michelle Lewallen, Kimberly Hacker, Karrie Butzu and 7 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lewiston with Pastor Steven Thiel officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday at the church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church through the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, P.O. Box 1548, Gaylord, MI 49734.
