Martha Level Memoriam
November 1, 1933 - June 6, 2025
Martha "June" Saine Level, 91, passed away on June 6, 2025, in Florida. Born in 1933 in Ft. Pierce, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1955, where she was one of the first female graduates and a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She later earned a Master's in School Media from Purdue University in 1959. Over her career, she taught in multiple states, led children's library services, and actively supported the American Library Association. June cherished children's literature, donated thousands of books, and received the Distinguished Service Award from Stetson Law School in 2020. She was preceded in death by her daughter Meredith Level and is survived by her son, Kurt (wife Elaine) and grandchildren Maddie and Harrison, and daughter, Valerie Mardle, and granddaughter Brianna Murray. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th at St. Luke's Fellowship Hall in Oviedo, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Stetson University College of Law in memory of June Level. Sympathy gifts to family can be mailed to 5760 Goldnwood Dr., FL 32817
