Alfredo Enrique Franco, 68, de Kingwood, Texas falleció
el sábado 10 de Julio del año 2012.
Alfredo nació en Venezuela y llegó a USA en 1967; tomó el American Dream como propio y llegó a ser ciudadano americano en 1970. Su vida, su amor de familia, y sus logros son verdadero testimonio de su personalidad.
Alfredo tuvo una carrera profesional que empezo con Otis Engineering donde trabajó como Ingeniero Petrolero en la industria petrolera por mas de 45 años, logrando trabajar en 55 paises. Sera extrañados mucho por su familia, compañeros de trabajo y amigos.
Antecedido en muerte por su querida esposa, Elizabeth Edmonson Franco y sus padres, Alfredo Ignacio Franco y Rubia Urdaneta-Franco; le sobreviven tres hijos, Alfredo Enrique Franco, Jr., David Baylis Franco y Eduardo David Franco-Vargas; y sus hermanos, Angel E Franco, Aida Franco-Araujo, Alberto E Franco, Maria Franco-Calderas, Alcira Franco, Adelfa Franco-Boren y Alfredo Ig Franco; su tía, Virginia Nuñez y numerosos sobrinos, primos y amigos.
Para honrar su vida, el funeral será realizado de 6:00 a 8:00 p.m. el martes 17 de Julio de 2012 en el Kingwood Funeral Home. El entierro será en el Magnolia Cemetery en Houma, Louisiana el jueves, 19 de Julio de 2012 de 11:00 a.m a
12:00 m.

Alfredo will always be remembered for his absolute gentleman nature and his charm. Even his eyes would smile when he spoke to you. He was a proud man, but sweet, always brightening up a room (you could always hear him coming...his booming voice). To his family, try to be comforted in what he meant to all of us. He will be missed, but we know he is looking down on us...smiling his famous smile.

I will always remember Alfredo and his booming voice. It was always such a joy hearing him come down the hall because I knew he would stop by my office and say hello and tell me stories of his most recent journey. I will always remember the treats he would bring from Mexico. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family. He will be truly missed but, most definitely, never forgotten.

Parece que fue ayer el dÃa en que lo conocimos, con una voz fuerte y una sonrisa de oreja a oreja se presento con nosotros, hoy se fue pero sigue en cada uno de nuestros corazones, gracias a su forma de ser, de pensar y sus ganas de vivir dia a dia, todos nosotros aprendimos de el, bastantes enseanzas.
Siempre estaba disponible asi como el mismo decia 24/7-365� para brindarnos su soporte y apoyo en cada una de nuestras actividades tanto profesionales como personales.
El sé fue orgulloso de su equipo que formo, que mas que un equipo fue una familia.
Fue un amigo incondicional que se preocupaba por el bienestar de cada uno de nosotros, nos guiaba para tomar decisiones, siempre tenia nuestro respeto y admiracion, mostrando un gran dinamismo y entrega hacia la compania que representaba.
Para muchos un compatriota sin igual y para otros un ejemplo a seguir, lo considerabamos parte de nuestra familia mexicana, nuestras tradiciones, nuestra cultura, y nos sentimos orgullosos de haber conocido a una persona como el ya que sus ultimos dias de vida pensamos que los disfruto la maximo porque todos sus suenos y logros se vieron realizados estos ultimos dias.
Hoy queremos hacerles llegar a su familia y amigos nuestras mas sentidas palabras de condolencia por esta irreparable perdida. Que Dios lo tenga en la gloria y brille para el la luz eterna.

Alfredo was always full of charm & wit; he never failed to put a positive spin on everything. He loved his family deeply and simply glowed with pride each time he spoke of his sons. One of my biggest role models in life has passed away. My uncle taught me so much about personal & professional life. I have always followed him & always wanted to be like him since my childhood. Always smiling, happy, charming, enthusiastic, world traveler, winning attitude, dynamic personality, always present at all important family moments, best adventures & stories, and the list goes on. Alfredo was our neighbor and friend. Unfortunately, he traveled a lot so we didn't get to see him as often as we would have liked. When he would come back home, he would see us and say "I'm back" with his arms wide open. His wonderful smile and dynamic personality will be missed by us. Rest in peace, Alfredo!
