Lionel Hebert Obituary
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the Mass to start at 11 a.m., at Annunziata Catholic Church. The burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Scott Hebert and wife, Daria Van Osdale Hebert; one daughter, Susan Hebert; one brother, Rene Hebert; one sister, Aline Hebert Barker; two sisters-in-law, Marian Breaux Hebert and Neva Lee Hebert; one son-in-law, Steve Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Kaci Bailey and husband, Shane, Toni Knight and husband, Travis, Meagan Blanchard and husband, Shaun, Hannah Hebert, Julia Hebert, Shontelle Thibodeaux, and Cole Thibodeaux; great-grandchildren, Brennen Thibodeaux, Olivia Baio, Joshua Blanchard, Jackson Knight, Isabella Thibodeaux, and Audrey Bailey; and beloved companion, Dakota 2.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joy Lynn Collins Hebert; parents, Alex and Veleda Barbier Hebert; two brothers, Thomas Hebert and Alex Hebert Jr.; one sister, Agatha Hebert Badeaux; two brothers-in-law, Norman Badeaux and John Barker; and one sister-in-law, Antonia Pol Hebert.
He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mr. Lionel has passed away. I'd see him at Heritage Manor, He sat at my dad's table in the cafeteria. Very sweet man. I miss seeing him. Prayers for the family.

Susan and Scott so sorry to hear about your fathers passing, your parents were wonderful people to all of us growing up, i know he will be deeply missed but I also know you are at peace knowing your parents are together again forever, big hugs to u!

Scott and Susan; I'm so sorry about the loss of your Father; He was such a wonderful person and also a friend to the end.
I remember the good times in the past while we were in Houma and will never forget the many conversations we had with each other.
