Paul Hebert Obituary
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ruby Térése Dupré Hebert after having shared 62 years of sacred marriage. Loving father of Druby (Kathy), Paul II (Theresa), Terrin-Ray (Rachelle), Evin, Marius (Ann) Hebert and the late Terence Hebert. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer Hebert, Jessica (Dominick) Porrazzo, Charles, Michael, Daniel and the late Jeremy Hebert and proud great-grandfather of Ashley Porrazzo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odele and Joseph Hebert; sisters, Lillian Picone, Elda Hebert and Leonise Foreman; brothers, Sam Hebert and Wilson Hebert; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, a retired butcher in the meat packing industry with 42 years of service, a lifelong parishioner of St. Alphonsus Parish and a Blessed Seelos volunteer.
He will be loved and remembered by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses are preferred.

Rest In Peace Paul Hebert. It's a shame I never got to meet you, I enjoyed hearing about you and your family, and how you were all very close. Your first cousin Annie Hebert Picone is my great great grandmother. My great grandmother is May Eva Picone Trahan, your brother in law, Nolan Picone's sister. My sincere condolences to your family and friends.
