Aurora Bárcenas de Small
1947-2016
Aurora Bárcenas Pantoja (viuda de Small) passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016, surrounded by her three loving sons at St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Born in Jerecuaro, Guanajuato, she traveled throughout the world and at the end of her life had no regrets. She was happy and fulfilled with her almost 70 years of life.
Aurora is survived and remembered with love, admiration and gratitude by her sons Ricardo, Juan Eugenio and Andres, her five siblings Guadalupe, Elia, Abel, Jesus and Rebeca; her stepmother Amalia; and six grandchildren Seth, Della Grace, Isabella, Emma, Nathan and Sean. She was preceded in death but is now reunited in eternal rest with her husband Richard Small, father Ismael Bárcenas and mother Aurora Pantoja.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, your local kidney transplant chapter or any ovarian cancer research organization. Memorial services will be held for Aurora on Wednesday, July 20th at St. Christopher's By-the-Sea Church in Key Biscayne, Florida at 9:30am and on Saturday, July 30th at Parroquia Santa Cruz del Pedregal in Mexico City at 1:30pm.
