1950-2016
Charles Frederick Welch, 66, of Friendswood, TX, formerly of Houston TX, passed away Sunday, July 24 2016.
Native of Houston, TX, Charles was a hard and conscientious worker, and was kind to all who knew him. He was a previous member of the First Christian Church when growing up. Charles will be remembered as a gentle person and accepting his fate all his life with graciousness and humility. Fortunately he was able to travel the world with his mother on vacations. He could talk to anyone he met with sincerity and complete honesty. He also complained very little about his conditions or any suffering he endured in the latter parts of his life; yet he made everyone feel most comfortable when they were around him. He was an inspiration to his family. Of course he will be missed, but he is now at peace in Heaven with his Mother, Father, and other relatives.
Survivors: Brother, George (Buddy) Welch and Sister, Barbara Ann Welch Biehunko, Nephews and Niece, Michael Eastridge, and Trey, Truley, and Trevor Welch, and also other relatives.
Funeral Services are at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 4, at the Jeter Funeral Home in Friendswood with graveside service and interment following at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Viewing is also available Wednesday, August 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Family request friends make donations to the Epilepsy Foundation or their favorite charity.
